BA Psychology and Public Policy (Swarthmore College). Liz's general interests include urban sociology, ethnography, social policy, and stratification. Previously, she served in the Peace Corps on the Cape Verde Islands (West Africa). After the Peace Corps, Liz worked as a legal services advocate for tenants of Philadelphia public housing, and as the assistant dean for Residential Life at Swarthmore College.
