Alex received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University where he majored in Human Biology. He came to Princeton in the Fall of 2006 to pursue his major areas of interest within the broad domain of inequality. In particular, Alex is interested in the social mobility of immigrants, particularly the patterns of educational and occupational attainment of second generation Latinos.
