Danny Schneider

Daniel received his undergraduate degree from Brown University where he majored in Public Policy and American Institutions. His research examines inequality in the United States with a focus on research questions at the intersection of social demography, economic sociology, and gender. He is particularly interested in the role economic factors play in family formation. His current work takes a close look at the “marriage bar,” examining the association between asset ownership and marriage. Prior to coming to Princeton, he worked for several years as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School.

Daniel is a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow.
