Daily Visitor Parking, Lot 21

Directions: heading north on Washington Road (away from Route 1), turn right onto Faculty Road. (If you are heading south on Washington Road from Nassau Street/Route 27, turn left onto Faculty Road instead.) After passing Jadwin Gym, turn left on Fitzrandolph Road and then take the first left turn into Lot 21. A free campus shuttle operates from Lot 21 weekdays until the early evenings.

Evening/Weekend Parking, Lot 3, 10, 10A, 26A

From 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. on weekdays and from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, visitors may park in most of the University’s numbered parking lots, including Lot 3 (Prospect Street), Lots 10/10A (Williams Street), and Lot 26A (Ivy Lane).

Overnight Parking

Parking between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. is not permitted. Vehicles may be towed or booted.

Parking for people with mobility disabilities

Proceed to the traffic booth on Elm Drive for permission to drop off or pick up a passenger at locations on the main campus.

Municipal Parking in Princeton Borough

Three municipal parking garages that charge a fee are located on Chambers, Hulfish, and Spring streets in downtown Princeton.

Metered parking on Princeton streets is limited to one or two hours in most cases and operates from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Street parking is prohibited between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. There are some streets with longer-term parking meters that are within easy walking distance from campus. Parking regulations are strictly enforced.
